四川轻化工大学是四川省人民政府与国家国防科技工业局共建的全日制普通高等学校。学校拥有四个校区，占地面积近5000亩，现有全日制在校研究生、本科生、留学生4万余人。学校推进学科专业一体化发展，学科涵盖工学、理学、管理学等12学科门类，形成了多学科协调发展的格局。学校师资力量雄厚，现有教职工3100余人。学校科研实力强劲,近三年获批国家级项目近50项、省级项目280项，获得省部级以上科研成果奖60余项。
Sichuan University of Science & Engineering, is a full-time regular institution of higher education jointly established by the People's Government of Sichuan Province and the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. The university covers an area around 5,000 acres, with four campuses. Currently, it has over 40,000 full-time students, including undergraduates, postgraduates, and international students. The university promotes the integrated development of disciplines and specialties, covering 12 discipline categories including engineering, science, and management, forming a pattern of coordinated multi-disciplinary development. The university boasts a strong faculty, with more than 3,100 staff members. In the past three years, the university demonstrates strong research capabilities, having secured nearly 50 national-level projects and 280 provincial-level projects while also receiving over 60 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research achievement awards.
学校累计培养了来自60余个国家千余名的各类留学生，2021年学校获批四川省首批来华留学示范基地，基地聚焦“留学川轻化”内涵建设，完善汉语精品课程；设计、组织校内外文化体验课程及实践活动；借助汉语各类考试考点建设提升学校区域辐射力；先后成立了老挝和巴基斯坦两个海外校友分会。
SUSE has trained over a thousand international students from more than 60 countries. In 2021, SUSE was approved as one of the first demonstration bases for studying in China in Sichuan Province. The base focuses on the construction of the connotation of "Studying Abroad at SUSE" and improves the quality of Chinese language courses. Design and organize cultural experience courses and practical activities both inside and outside the university. Utilize the construction of various Chinese language examination centers to enhance regional radiation. Two overseas alumni chapters have been established successively in Laos and Pakistan.
