西华师范大学创建于1946年，是四川省属重点大学、四川省首批一流学科建设高校、全国博士和硕士学位授予单位，坐落于历史文化名城南充。现设25个学院，有2个博士学位授权一级学科，20个硕士学位授权一级学科，18个硕士专业学位授权类别，78个本科专业，涵盖10大学科门类。生态学、天文学、中国语言文学、马克思主义理论、化学、政治学、教育学、中国史、数学等学科在国内有重要影响。5个学科进入ESI全球排名前1%。4个学科进入“软科中国最好学科排行榜”。5个学科（群）入选四川省一流学科，有全日制在校学生40000余人、教职员工3000余名。
China West Normal University is a key university in Sichuan Province, located in the historical and cultural city of Nanchong, Sichuan Province. In the past 78 years since its establishment, the university has developed into a comprehensive university with a full range of disciplines, excellent operating conditions, strong faculty, and fruitful teaching and research achievements. The university has been successfully selected as one of the national excellent talents education training program, Sichuan Province double first-class construction program, excellent teacher training program and the first batch of free teacher training program, and is the first provincial university in China to be awarded the "Sichuan Excellent College Student Selection Base".
学校注重国际合作与交流，与英国桑德兰大学、新西兰惠灵顿维多利亚大学、日本千叶大学、韩国世宗大学、马来西亚世纪大学、意大利贝内文托音乐学院等20余所海外高校签署校际合作协议,在学术交流、互派访学学生联合培养、海外实习实践及就业等方面开展实质性合作。
The school places a strong emphasis on international cooperation and exchange. It has signed inter-school cooperation agreements with more than 20 overseas universities, including the University of Sunderland in the UK, Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, Chiba University in Japan, Sejong University in South Korea, SEGi University in Malaysia, and the Benevento Conservatory of Music in Italy. These agreements facilitate substantive collaboration in areas such as academic exchange, joint student training through mutual visits, overseas internships, and employment opportunities.
国际学院成立于2015年，主要负责学校来华留学生的招生培养及管理、留学生汉语文化教学与研究、汉语国际推广等。学院重点面向“一带一路”沿线国家招收学历生和语言生，九年来在招生宣传、专业教育、实习实践、教学管理、后勤服务、就业发展、文化交流等方面取得了长足的发展，留学生教育初具规模。
Established in 2015, the International College is mainly responsible for the enrollment and management of international students, teaching and research of Chinese culture for international students, and international promotion of Chinese language. The college focuses on recruiting academic and language students from the countries along the "Belt and Road" and has made great development in enrollment, professional education, practice, teaching management, logistics service, employment development and cultural exchange in the past nine years, and the education of international students has taken shape.
学历培养层次主要是本科和研究生，其中硕士学位研究生招生专业有：公共管理、汉语国际教育、有机化学、环境科学与工程、生物学、生态学、体育人文社会、民族传统体育学等专业；本科学士学位招生专业有：国际经济与贸易、电子信息工程、国际中文、软件工程四个专业。目前学院2021、2022、2023、2024级在读本科生420余名，在读硕士研究生70余名，专业教师与管理团队12人。
The academic training level is mainly undergraduate and graduate, among which the enrollment of master's degree graduate majors are: public administration, Chinese International Education，organic chemistry, Environmental Science and Engineering, etc.; the enrollment of undergraduate bachelor's degree majors are: international economics and trade, electronic information engineering, international Chinese, soft engineering, etc. At present, the College has more than 420 undergraduate students in the 2021、2022、2023 and 2024 classes, 70 master's students in the College, and 12 professional teachers and management team.
学院自2015年招收第一批本科生以来，共计毕业生已经超过了90余人，其中继续攻读硕士学位30余人，继续攻读博士学位8人，考研考博率总共超40%，毕业生就业率100%。
Since the first batch of undergraduates was enrolled in 2015, the total number of graduates has exceeded90, of which more than 30have pursued master's degree and 8 have pursued doctoral degree, with a total rate of over40% for graduate studies and 100% employment rate.
