四川大学位于中国成都，成立于1896年，校园分为望江、华西、江安和眉山四大校区，设施齐全，环境优美，为师生提供了良好的学习与研究环境。四川大学13个学科门类齐全，涵盖文、理、工、医、经、管、法等多个领域，设有多个国家级重点实验室和研究基地，拥有丰富的教学资源和雄厚的师资力量，在自然科学、工程技术、人文社科、医学等方面的研究水平都处于国内领先地位。2025年，四川大学在软科世界大学学术排名（ARWU）中位列87位。在2025年公布的ESI（Essential Science Indicators）最新数据中，四川大学的化学、材料科学、临床医学、药理学与毒理学、工程学、计算机科学、生物学与生物化学和分子生物学与遗传学8个学科进入ESI前千分之一，21个学科进入ESI前百分之一。学校现有全日制普通本科生3.8万余人，硕博士研究生3.3万余人，外国留学生及港澳台学生3000余人。
Sichuan University（SCU） is located in Chengdu, China, founded in 1896. The campus is divided into four major campuses: Wangjiang, Huaxi, Jiang'an, and Meishan with complete facilities and beautiful environment, providing a good learning and research environment for teachers and students. Sichuan University offers a complete range of 13 disciplines, covering literature, science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, law, etc., and boasts multiple state key laboratories, research bases, abundant teaching resources and a strong faculty team. The university ranks top in China in such research areas as natural sciences, engineering technology, humanities and social sciences, and medicine. In 2025, Sichuan University ranked 87th in ShanghaiRanking's Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) . According to the latest Essential Science Indicators (ESI) data released in 2025, eight of Sichuan University's disciplines -- Chemistry, Material Science, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Engineering, Computer Science, Biology & Biochemistry，and Molecular Biology & Genetics - are in the ESI global top 0.1%, and 21of its disciplines are in the ESI global top 1%. The university currently has over 38,000 full-time undergraduate students, over 33,000 master's and doctoral students, and more than 3,000 international students and students from Hong kong, Macao and Taiwan regions of China.
四川大学学科门类齐全，学校开设有60多个全英文授课本科、硕士及博士项目，涵盖文、理、工、医等学科，其中临床医学（MBBS项目）、口腔医学、软件工程、土木工程、国际旅游与酒店管理、国际工商管理等6个本科专业成建制招生运行，质量稳步增加。特别是MBBS，作为该校全英文授课本科专业的品牌项目，一直在全球享有良好口碑。
Sichuan University offers a comprehensive range of disciplines, over 60 fully English-taught undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs covering humanities, sciences, engineering, and medicine. Among them, six undergraduate programs—Clinical Medicine (MBBS), Dentistry, Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, International Tourism and Hospitality Management, and International Business Administration—have been systematically established and are steadily improving in quality.
Notably, the MBBS program, as the university’s flagship fully English-taught undergraduate program, enjoys a strong global reputation.
四川大学具有深厚的人文底蕴和浓厚的国际化校园氛围，是首批四川省来华留学示范基地。学校精心打造了以“留传经典”为代表的一整套具有川大特色的来华留学文化体验、文化浸润、国情教育的课程和实践体系，年均开展各项活动100余场次，参与学生4000余人次。近五年，来华留学生多次在“挑战杯”中国大学生创业计划竞赛等多项国家和国际重大赛事中获得金奖（一等奖）。
Sichuan University boasts a rich cultural heritage and a highly internationalized campus environment. It is one of the first designated "Study in Sichuan" Demonstration Bases. The university has developed a unique cultural immersion and national education program for international students, exemplified by the "Legacy of Classics" initiative. More than 100 cultural activities and practical courses are held annually, with over 4,000 student participants. Over the past five years, international students at Sichuan University have won multiple gold (first-place) awards in prestigious national and international competitions, including the "Challenge Cup" China College Students Entrepreneurship Competition.
四川大学为来华留学生提供了多种奖学金支持，包括中国政府奖学金、国际中文教师奖学金、孔子新汉学计划奖学金、成都市政府奖学金、四川大学“留学川大”优秀来华留学生奖学金等。其中“留学川大”优秀来华留学生奖学金实施来，共吸引和培养了来自全球105个国家和地区等2200余名优秀学生，80%为学历生。目前学校已构建一体化管理服务体系，全程覆盖 “入学教育 - 学业指导 - 就业发展” 三大关键阶段，提供全周期、精细化服务。
Sichuan University provides a variety of scholarships for international students, including the Chinese Government Scholarship, International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, Confucius New Sinology Scholarship, Chengdu Government Scholarship, and the "Study at SCU" Outstanding International Student Scholarship. Since implement, this scholarship has attracted and supported over 2,200 outstanding students from 105 countries and regions, 80% of whom are degree-seeking students.
The university has also established an integrated management and support system that covers the three key stages of international student education—Orientation, Academic Guidance, and Career Development—offering comprehensive and personalized services.
