四川职业技术学院是四川省人民政府主办并直管的全日制公办普通高等学校，始建于1911年，已有110余年职教办学历史。学校坐落于成渝地区双城经济圈的重要节点城市遂宁，现有“一校区一园区两基地”办学格局，占地2100余亩，全日制在校生2.3万余人。

学校设有16个二级学院和8个产业学院，开设74个普通大专专业及4个职教本科试点专业，涵盖多学科领域。现有教职工1300余人，其中高级职称近300人。学校坚持产教融合，与地方政府、行业共建锂电、汽车等特色产业学院，践行“把专业建在产业链上”的办学思路。
The college comprises 16 secondary schools and 8 industry-specific schools, offering 74 regular college-level programs and 4 pilot vocational undergraduate programs across multiple disciplines. It boasts more than 1000 teaching and administrative staff members, including nearly 300 with senior professional titles. Adhering to the integration of industry and education, the college collaborates with local governments and industries to establish featured schools such as the Lithium Battery Technology School and the Automotive School, implementing the educational philosophy of "aligning programs with industry chains."

The College has achieved significant breakthroughs in offshore educational programs and standards export. The "Jingshi Institute," jointly established with Thailand, has launched its degree program; the College has successfully exported its professional standards in modern logistics management to Morocco and continues to provide standards in fields such as new energy vehicles to Thailand, offering a replicable “Chinese Vocational Education Solution”. Simultaneously, the College actively supports Chinese enterprises in their global expansion by conducting customized "Chinese + Vocational Skills" training.
