♦ ⌈眉山职业技术学院简介⌉
眉山职业技术学院是2002年经四川省人民政府批准，报教育部备案，由眉山市人民政府举办的全日制公办高职院校，学校是全国和四川省乡村振兴人才培养优质校、四川省示范性高职院校、四川省高水平高职学校培育单位和高水平专业群建设单位。学校地处四川省眉山市，距省会成都60公里，距双流国际机场、成都天府国际机场均50公里。学校校园占地1000余亩，学校现有8个教学单位，招生专业33个，全日制在校生12000余人。2020年以来，学校教师获教学能力大赛省奖56项；学生参加省级以上技能大赛、创新创业比赛获奖796项，其中国家级奖项56项；教职工获市级以上科技成果奖励26项，授权专利44项、发明专利8项，研发推广水稻、晚熟柑橘等实用技术20余项。
♦ ⌈Overview of Meishan Vocational & Technical College⌉
Meishan Vocational & Technical College (MVTC), founded in 2002 with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education, is a full-time public higher vocational institution under the administration of the Meishan Municipal People's Government. The college holds multiple prestigious titles conferred by national and provincial authorities, including designation as both a National and a Sichuan Provincial High-Quality Talent Training Institution for Rural Revitalization, recognition as a Sichuan Provincial Model Higher Vocational College, selection as a Sichuan High-Level Higher Vocational College Cultivation Unit, and approval as a Sichuan Provincial Construction Unit for High-Level Programme Clusters. Strategically located in Meishan City, Sichuan Province, the campus is situated approximately 60 kilometers from the provincial capital Chengdu and about 50 kilometers from both Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. The college spans over 67 hectares and comprises eight teaching colleges, offering 33 diploma programs to more than 12,000 full-time students. Since 2020, MVTC has achieved remarkable outcomes: faculty have secured 56 provincial-level teaching awards; students have earned 796 awards in provincial and national competitions, including 56 national honors; and staff have been honored with 26 awards for scientific and technological achievements at municipal level or above, obtained 44 authorized patents (8 of which are invention patents), and developed over 20 practical technologies in fields such as rice cultivation and late-ripening citrus production.
♦ ⌈留学生培养概况⌉
学校高度重视国际交流与合作，先后与尼泊尔、泰国等国（境）外6个国家7所大学签署合作协议，外派师生出访国（境）外32人，招收荷兰诺德温大学和尼泊尔农林大学短期进修生13人、孟加拉和塔吉克斯坦短期汉语进修生11名、印度尼西亚全日制学历留学生33名，邀请尼泊尔、德国等“一带一路”沿线12个国家的近60名外国籍学生来校交流。学校承办29个国家青年学者参加的国际青年学者研修班交流活动，入选“中欧教育人文交流服务计划”实施院校、“中阿高校10+10合作计划”成员单位、中德先进职业教育合作项目第二期项目院校。
♦ ⌈Overview of International Student Admission⌉
MVTC proactively advances its international exchange and cooperation initiatives. The college has established formal cooperation agreements with seven universities across six countries and regions, with key partners including institutions in Thailand and Nepal. A total of 32 faculty members and students have participated in overseas academic visits and exchanges. In the area of international education, MVTC has hosted 13 short-term academic visiting students from institutions including Nordwin College (the Netherlands) and the Agriculture and Forestry University of Nepal, admitted 11 short-term Chinese language trainees from Bangladesh and Tajikistan, and enrolled 33 full-time degree-seeking international students from Indonesia. Furthermore, the college has welcomed nearly 60 international students from 12 countries along the Belt and Road, including Nepal and Germany, for academic and cultural exchange programs. MVTC has hosted international youth scholar training programs attended by scholars from 29 countries. It has been selected as an implementing institution of the China-EU Education People-to-People Exchange Service Program, a member institution of the "China–Arab Universities 10+10 Cooperation Plan,”and a participating institution in the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project (Phase II).
