四川城市职业学院创办于1999年，在2007年经四川省教育厅批准，2008年教育部备案的一所全日制民办高等职业院校。学校有成都和眉山两个校区，占地面积1602亩，校舍建筑面积58万平方米，教学科研仪器设 备总值1.75亿元，图书馆藏书196万册，办学实力雄厚，在国内高职院校各类排行榜中连续三年排 名全省民办高职高专第1位、全国前十。
Founded in 1999, Urban Vocational College of Sichuan is a full-time private higher vocational college approved by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education in 2007 and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2008. The school has two campuses in Chengdu and Meishan, covering an area of 1,602 acres with a total building area of 580,000 square meters. The school is well-equipped with teaching and research instruments worth 175 million yuan and a library collection of 1.96 million books. It has strong educational capabilities and has ranked first among private vocational colleges in Sichuan Province and in the top ten nationwide for three consecutive years in various vocational college rankings.

学校全日制在校生21000余名，各类教师1000余人。其中专任教师中，高级职称占比 31.43%,“双师型”教师占比50.54%,引育各类高水平人才、技能专家，企业兼职教师达 28%。学校设有信息技术学院、城市建设与设计学院、智能制造与交通学院、医学与健康学院、经济管理学院、教育学院等六个学院，为学生开放围绕医学健康、信息技术、智能制造、智慧城市、现代服务等专业大类。
The school has over 21,000 full-time students and more than 1,000 faculty members. Among the full-time teachers, 31.43% hold senior professional titles, and 50.54% are dual-qualified teachers. The school also employs a significant number of high-level talents, skill experts, and part-time teachers from enterprises, accounting for 28%. It comprises six faculty: Information Technology College, Urban Construction and Design College, Intelligent Manufacturing and Transportation College, Medical and Health College, Economics and Management College, and Education College, offering a wide range of majors in medical health, information technology, intelligent manufacturing, smart cities, and modern services.
学校坚持对外开放办学，开展全方位、多层次、高水平的国际交流与合作，至今已与10余个国家70多所院校建立了合作与交流关系。相继开展了与澳大利亚、英国、韩国、日本、西班牙、新西兰等多个国家的多所院校开展国际交流与合作。学校也面向世界招收留学生到中国学习汉语和专业技能，有来自于世界各地的200余名留学生在校学习中文和专业。
The college is committed to open and international education, engaging in comprehensive, multi-level, and high-quality international exchanges and cooperation. It has established cooperative relationships with more than 70 institutions in over 10 countries. The college has conducted international exchanges and cooperation with institutions in Australia, the UK, South Korea, Japan, Spain, New Zealand, and other countries. Additionally, it admits international students from around the world to study Chinese language and professional skills, with currently over 200 international students enrolled.
