2021年7月，我校成功入选首批“四川省来华留学示范基地”。作为学校国际化教育的重要平台，基地秉持“建设与城市能级相匹配的城市大学”的强校兴城使命，紧紧围绕为社会培养高素质应用型人才的目标，致力于为留学生提供优质的教育资源与多元的学习体验，着力培养一批富有创新精神和实践能力、能够在“一带一路”沿线国家经济社会发展中发挥重要作用的知华友华国际人才。
基地涵盖本科、硕士等多个层次的学历教育与非学历教育项目，专业设置涵盖艺术、管理、理工等多个学科领域，形成了独具特色的国际化人才培养模式。针对学历项目、非学历项目，基地设立丰富多样的奖学金体系，为留学生提供更广阔的学习与发展空间。
基地着力打造“留学四川·感知成都”中华文化特色课程体系，组织开展丰富多彩的文化体验活动，帮助留学生深入了解中国、融入当地生活，不断增强对四川和成都的认同感与归属感。同时，作为省级示范基地，基地充分发挥辐射带动作用，积极与本市及国内兄弟高校开展交流合作，分享办学经验，共同推动来华留学服务水平的提升与培养质量的优化。

In July 2021, Chengdu University was selected for the first list of demonstration bases for international student programs in Sichuan Province. The base serves as a crucial platform for the university's internationalization. It is committed to building a university that matches Chengdu's comprehensive strength level and contributing to the development of both the university and the city. Focusing on cultivating high-quality applied talent for society, the base provides international students with premium educational resources and diverse learning experiences. It aims to nurture innovative talent with practical ability, who understand and are friendly to China and can play significant roles in economic and social development of countries along the Belt and Road.
The base offers multi-level educational programs, including undergraduate and master's degree programs, as well as non-degree programs. With a rich program portfolio spanning arts, management, science, engineering, and other disciplines, the base has developed a unique international talent cultivation model. It provides comprehensive scholarship plans for degree programs and non-degree programs, expanding learning and development opportunities for international students.
Through the "Study in Sichuan, Experience Chengdu" characteristic curriculum centered on Chinese culture, the base offers rich cultural experience activities for international students, helping them better understand China and integrate into Chinese life and enhance their sense of identity and belonging toward Sichuan and Chengdu. Meanwhile, as a provincial-level demonstration base, it actively leverages its exemplary and radiating role, collaborating with other higher education institutions in Chengdu and even across China to share educational experiences and improve the overall service quality and training standards for international students.
