四川农业大学（SAU）建校于1906年，至今已有120年历史，是一所以生物科技为特色，农业科技为优势，多学科协调发展的国家“211工程”重点建设大学和国家“双一流”建设高校，也是教育部本科教学工作水平评估优秀高校。学校现有雅安、成都和都江堰3个校区，设有学院28个，研究所4个，国家重点实验室2个，涵盖农学、理学、工学、经济学、管理学、医学、文学、教育学、法学、艺术学10大学科门类。
Sichuan Agricultural University (SAU) was founded in 1906, with a long history of 120 years. It is a national "Project 211" key construction university and a national "Double First-Class" construction university with the coordinating development of various disciplines, taking biotechnology as its feature and agricultural science and technology as its advantage. It has been evaluated by the Ministry of Education as excellent university for its undergraduate education. SAU consists of three campuses: Ya'an, Chengdu, and Dujiangyan. It has 28 colleges, 4 research institutes (centers) and 2 state key laboratories which cover a variety of academic fields such as Agronomy, Science, Engineering, Economics, Management, Medicine, Literature, Pedagogy, Law and Art.
四川农业大学在玉米、水稻、小麦、蔬菜、水果的育种、种植和深加工，以及在牛、羊、猪、水产养殖等方面具有突出优势。动物营养与饲养、作物遗传与育种、动物遗传与育种、预防兽医学为国家重点学科。农学、兽医学2025年分别排名软科世界一流学科(GRAS)第21位和第15位。植物学与动物学、农业科学ESI排名世界前1‰，生物与生物化学、环境科学与生态学、化学、微生物学、工程学、分子生物学与遗传学、社会科学、药理学与毒理学等10个学科在ESI排行榜上位列全球前1%。
SAU has advantages in breeding, cultivation, and deep processing of maize, rice, wheat, vegetables, and fruits, as well as in cattle, sheep, swine, aquaculture etc. Animal Nutrition and Feeding, Crop Genetics and Breeding, Animal Genetics and Breeding, and Preventive Veterinary Medicine are four of national keystone disciplines in China. Agricultural Science and Veterinary Medicine ranked 21st and 15th respectively among the Shanghai Ranking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) in 2025. The discipline of Plant and Animal Science, Agricultural Science are ranked among the top 1‰ in ESI global rankings, and ten disciplines, namely Biology and Biochemistry, Environmental Science and Ecology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, Molecular Biology and Genetics, and Social Sciences,Pharmacology and Toxicology are ranked among the top 1% in ESI rankings.

♦ ⌈ 留学生培养概况International Students Admission⌉
学校所有院所均可招收国际学生。攻读学士学位学习期限为四至五年，攻读硕士学位学习期限为三年，攻读博士学位学习年限为四年。
All colleges can enroll international students. The duration of study for undergraduate students is usually 4 or 5 years, that for master students is usually 3 years and for doctoral students usually 4 years.
国际学生可申请中国政府奖学金、四川省外国留学生政府奖学金、成都市友好城市奖学金、成都市一带一路奖学金、四川农业大学奖学金等。学校定期组织一系列国际文化艺术节活动丰富留学生校园生活，如国际美食文化美食节、校园文化活动、秋游活动等，丰富的多彩的活动营造了浓厚的国际化氛围。
International students can apply for CSC Scholarship, Sichuan Provincial Government Scholarship for International Student, Chengdu Government Scholarship for International Students from Sister Cities, Chengdu “Belt and Road” Government Scholarship for International Students and Sichuan Agricultural University Scholarship. SAU also regularly organizes a series of international and cultural and arts festivals to enrich the campus life of international students, such as International Food and Culture Festival, campus cultural activities, Autumn Trip, Traditional Cultural Communication Competition, etc. These activities create a strong international atmosphere.
