宜宾学院位于“万里长江第一城”四川宜宾，是省属全日制综合性本科院校。学校现有江北校区和临港校区，总面积2260亩，有14个二级学院、2个二级学部，面向全国28个省、自治区、直辖市招生，全日制在校生2.6万余人。学校持续深化国际化发展格局，积极推进国际合作交流，是四川省内唯一同时入选“中非高校百校合作计划”和“中非大学联盟”的高校。学校响应“一带一路”教育行动，成立了南亚东南亚研究院，建设了宜宾学院老挝琅南塔校区和宜宾学院-埃塞俄比亚沃莱塔索多大学汉语语言文化教学中心。学校面向全球招收留学生，举办国际经济与贸易、汉语国际教育和农学等3个国际学生教育专业，现有来自俄罗斯、巴基斯坦、摩洛哥等25个国家300余名国际学生在校学习。
Yibin University is a provincial-level full-time comprehensive university located in Yibin, Sichuan Province, known as the First City on the Yangtze River. The university has two campuses: Jiangbei Campus and Lingang Campus, covering a total area of 2,260 mu (approximately 150.67 hectares). It comprises 14 secondary colleges and 2 faculties, enrolling students from 28 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China, with a full-time student population of over 26,000.Committed to advancing internationalization, Yibin University has vigorously promoted international cooperation and exchanges. It is the only university in Sichuan Province selected for both the China-Africa 100 University Cooperation Program and the China-Africa University Consortium.Responding to the education initiative under the Belt and Road Initiative, the university has established the Institute of South and Southeast Asian Studies, set up the Yibin University Luang Namtha Campus in Laos, and built Yibin University–Wolaita Sodo University Chinese Language and Culture Teaching Center in Ethiopia.The university recruits international students globally and offers undergraduate degree programs , namely International Economics and Trade, Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, and Agronomy.
