雅安职业技术学院坐落在被誉为“天府之肺”“动植物基因库”的雅安市，有着74年的办学历史，现有经开区、青年路、育才路三个校区。设有9个二级学院及一所综合性二甲附属医院。开设高职专科招生专业45个、职业本科试点专业2个，现有学生17000余人，教职工1200余人。临床医学专业群和药学专业群为四川省高水平专业群建设计划。学校坚持“立足川西、协同成渝、融入产业、服务民生”的办学定位，构建以专业群为核心，以“产业学院+产业研究院+社区学院+乡村振兴学院”为驱动的“一核四驱”高质量服务地方发展新格局，成为西部民族地区大健康类人才重要培养基地，先后为区域经济社会发展输送了10余万名各类高素质技术技能人才，获世界职业院校技能大赛金奖等省级及以上标志性成果360余项。
Ya'an Polytechnic College is located in Ya'an City, hailed as the Lung of the Tianfu Land and the Gene Bank of Animals and Plants. Boasting a 74-year educational history, it now has three campuses, namely the Economic and Technological Development Zone Campus, Qingnian Road Campus and Yucai Road Campus. The college comprises 9 secondary schools and a comprehensive second-class Grade A affiliated hospital. It offers 45 higher vocational college majors for enrollment and 2 pilot majors for vocational undergraduate education, with a total of more than 17,000 students and over 1,200 faculty and staff members. Its Clinical Medicine Professional Group and Pharmaceutical Science Professional Group are included in Sichuan Provincial High-level Professional Group Construction Program. Adhering to the school-running orientation of "Rooting in Western Sichuan, Coordinating with Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, Integrating into Industries and Serving People's Livelihood", the college has built a new high-quality pattern of "One Core, Four Drivers" for serving local development — with professional groups as the core and the "Industry School + Industrial Research Institute + Community College + Rural Revitalization College" as the driving forces. It has become an important training base for health-related professionals in ethnic minority areas of western China, having cultivated and delivered more than 100,000 high-quality technical and skilled talents of various types for the regional economic and social development. The college has also won more than 360 landmark achievements at the provincial level and above, including the gold medal at the World Vocational Colleges Skills Competition.
学校秉持开放办学理念，与20余国政、校、医、企建立合作，在“一带一路”国家设4个援外医疗与教育培训基地，针对合作国发展需求，以中医药、茶艺、熊猫文化等为载体，常态化开展短期中文培训及“中文+职业技能”特色培训，打造“职教出海”品牌，提升学校国际影响力。
Adhering to the philosophy of open education, the college has established cooperative relations with governmental bodies, educational institutions, medical organizations and enterprises in more than 20 countries. It has set up 4 bases for foreign aid medical services and education & training in the Belt and Road countries. In response to the development needs of partner countries, the college takes traditional Chinese medicine, tea art, panda culture and other cultural elements as carriers to regularly carry out short-term Chinese language training and characteristic “Chinese + Vocational Skills” training programs. It is committed to building a renowned brand for “vocational education going global” and elevating the college’s international influence.
自2019年起，学校招收来自泰国、老挝、斯里兰卡等10个国家留学生400余名，目前在校生120余名。开设旅游管理、针灸推拿、软件技术、计算机应用技术专业学历教育及汉语言非学历教育。与成都中医药大学签署留学生贯通人才培养合作协议，构建“专科—本科”贯通留学生培养体系，提升留学生培养质量。
Since 2019, the college has enrolled over 400 international students from 10 countries including Thailand, Laos and Sri Lanka, with more than 120 currently pursuing their studies on campus. Academic education programs are offered in Tourism Management, Acupuncture and Massage, Software Technology, and Computer Application Technology, along with non-academic Chinese language education. The college has signed a cooperation agreement on the coherent cultivation of international talents with Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, establishing a “junior college to undergraduate” coherent training system for international students and improving the quality of international student cultivation.
