生物化学是现代医学的基石！它揭示了生命在分子层面上最深奥的秘密。本课程为全英文，双语字幕，可同时供留学生或中国学生本科线上教学。涵盖60多个微课视频，短小聚焦，通过一课一核心的机制，通过动态拆解生物大分子结构异常、代谢通路阻断或基因调控失衡，揭示疾病本质与药物靶点，赋能医学生从分子原点贯通临床逻辑。同时引入个别专题讲座，包括胰岛素和胰高血糖素的作用机制，肥胖，酮症酸中毒的生化机制等，深度刻画理解生化机制与临床思维。

Biochemistry is the cornerstone of modern medicine! It reveals life's deepest secrets at the molecular level. This course is taught entirely in English with bilingual subtitles and is suitable for both international students and Chinese students for online undergraduate teaching. It includes over 60 short and focused micro-lectures. Through a mechanism of one core concept per lesson, it dynamically dissects abnormal structure of biological macromolecules, the obstruction of metabolic pathway , or the imbalance of gene regulation to reveal the essence of diseases and drug targets, empowering medical students to connect molecular origins with clinical logic. Additionally, it incorporates several special topic lectures, such as the mechanisms of insulin and glucagon, obesity, and the biochemical mechanisms of ketoacidosis, to deeply depict and understand biochemical mechanisms and clinical thinking.

留学生《生物化学》课程团队成员共有8人，包括高级职称6人，中级职称2人，既有来自我校生物化学与分子生物学教研室的骨干和优秀青年教师，如泸州市“五四青年奖章”获得者、美国哈佛大学医学院访问学者——郑小莉教授，四川省教学名师——曾凡才教授，也有学校兼职教授、美国费城骨疗医学院（Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine）生物化学与分子生物学系终生教授——张殿政教授，张教授在美国长期从事医学生物化学与分子生物学的一线教学和科研工作，近年来持续与我校生化教研室开展教学和科研合作，使我们能够及时了解国外医学院校生物化学教学改革的趋势，有助于我们以国际化的视野来调整留学生生物化学课程的教学内容和方式。张教授除了在课程设计、课程内容方面给予我们指导外，还亲自给留学生授课，他的课堂教学深受学生们喜爱。

The teaching team for the International Students' "Biochemistry" course consists of 8 members, including 6 senior and 2 intermediate professionals. The team comprises both core faculty and outstanding young teachers from the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Teaching and Research Section of our university, such as Professor Zheng Xiaoli—recipient of the Luzhou City "May Fourth Youth Medal" and a visiting scholar at Harvard Medical School—and Professor Zeng Fancai, a distinguished teaching award recipient in Sichuan Province. Additionally, the team includes Professor Zhang Dianzheng, a part-time professor at our university and a tenured professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in the United States. Professor Zhang has long been engaged in frontline teaching and research in medical biochemistry and molecular biology in the U.S. In recent years, he has consistently collaborated with our Biochemistry Teaching and Research Section in teaching and research, enabling us to stay updated on trends in biochemistry teaching reforms at international medical schools. This collaboration helps us adjust the teaching content and methods of the biochemistry course for international students from a global perspective. Apart from providing guidance in course design and content, Professor Zhang also personally teaches international students, and his classroom instruction is highly popular among the students.
