本课程《医事法学》是面向来华临床医学留学生开设的全英文必修课,旨在培养具备医学与法学双重素养的国际化医学人才。课程内容涵盖中国医疗卫生法律体系、医患关系、医疗纠纷处理等核心模块,通过案例教学、模拟法庭、实地调研等多模式实践教学,增强学生的法律运用能力与跨文化沟通能力。课程自2010年开设以来,已累计培养600余名留学生,获评“最受留学生欢迎课程”,并于2023年入选四川省高校来华留学精品课程。
This course, Medical Law, is a compulsory English-taught course designed for international clinical medicine students in China. It aims to cultivate globally competent medical professionals with integrated knowledge of medicine and law. The curriculum covers key areas such as China's healthcare legal system, doctor-patient relationships, and medical dispute resolution. Through case studies, moot courts, and field visits, students enhance their legal application skills and cross-cultural communication abilities. Since its launch in 2010, the course has trained over 600 international students and has been recognized as a “Most Popular Course among International Students.” It was selected as a Provincial-Level Quality Course for International Students in Sichuan in 2023.

Course Director Professor Yang Haiyan, Vice Dean of the School of Law at Southwest Medical University, holds a Ph.D. in Law and is a doctoral supervisor specializing in Medical Law and Economic Law.

课程负责人羊海燕教授主持四川省首批新文科研究与改革实践项目及教育部产学合作协同育人项目,在《法学教育研究》等期刊发表多篇教学研究论文,曾获“最受留学生欢迎教师”称号,并多次指导学生获得“挑战杯”“互联网+”等竞赛国家级与省级奖项。其教学注重法学理论与医学实践的融合,深受留学生好评。
本课程教学团队共10人,其中教授2人、副教授2人、讲师6人。团队成员全部拥有硕士及以上学位,其中博士6人,占比60%。专业背景覆盖医事法学、国际卫生法、民商法、刑法、卫生政策等多个领域,具备医学与法学深度融合的跨学科教学优势。团队教师长期从事全英文授课,拥有丰富的涉外教学经验,多人具有海外留学或访学背景,主持或参与多项国家级、省部级教学与科研课题,在来华留学生法学教育、医疗法律实务、国际卫生治理等方面积累了扎实的理论基础与实践经验。
Course Director Professor Yang Haiyan leads Sichuan Province’s first New Liberal Arts Research and Reform Practice Project and a Ministry of Education Industry-Academia Cooperative Education Program. She has published several teaching research papers in journals such as Legal Education Research, and was honored as the“Most Popular Teacher among International Students.” She has also guided students to win national and provincial awards in competitions such as the “Challenge Cup” and “Internet+”. Her teaching integrates legal theory with medical practice and is highly praised by international students.
The teaching team consists of 10 members, including 2 professors, 2 associate professors, and 6 lecturers. All members hold a master’s degree or higher, with 6 possessing doctoral degrees, accounting for 60% of the team. Their academic expertise spans multiple fields such as medical law, international health law, civil and commercial law, criminal law, and health policy, providing strong interdisciplinary teaching capabilities that integrate medicine and law. The team has extensive experience in full-English instruction and international education, with several members having studied or conducted research abroad. They have led or participated in numerous national and provincial-level teaching and research projects, accumulating solid theoretical knowledge and practical experience in areas such as legal education for international students, medical legal practice, and global health governance.
