《中国概况》是面向留学生的通识课程，涵盖中国历史、地理、文化、政治、经济等方面，旨在培养知华、友华、爱华的国际友人。

Survey of China is a general education course designed for international students, covering various aspects of China, including history, geography, culture, politics, economy and so on. It aims to cultivate international friends who understand China, are friendly towards China, and have a deep affection for China.

《中国概况》是面向来华留学生开设的一门公共必修课，具有基础性、公共性和通识性的特点。课程旨在全面、系统、客观地介绍中国国情和中国文化的基本体系，帮助学生了解中国社会发展的各个方面。课程内容涵盖中国地理环境、历史文化、传统思想、科学技术、教育、地方特色文化、中国发展与世界共赢等当代社会生活等多个方面。

Survey of China is a required public course offered to international students studying in China, characterized by its foundational, public, and general education nature. The course aims to provide a comprehensive, systematic, and objective introduction to the basic framework of China's national conditions and culture, helping students understand various aspects of China's social development. The content covers multiple areas, including China's geographical environment, historical culture, traditional thought, science and technology, education, local characteristic culture, and contemporary social life, as well as China's development and win-win cooperation with the world.

课程特色：

1. 突出地方特色文化，增加巴蜀文化专题，使学生更好地融入当地生活。

2. 教学方式多样。采用课堂讲授、多媒体展示、小组讨论、考察与调研等多种形式，以增强学生的参与感和学习兴趣。

3. 资源丰富。团队已建成知识图谱，并同时上线学校SPOC平台。

4. 双语教学。课程所配备的教学文字和视频字幕资料均采用双语制作，既能满足留学生学习中文的需求，又可以解决中文带来的学习困惑。

Course Features:

1. Emphasis on local characteristic culture: A special topic on Bashu culture has been added to help students better integrate into local life.

2. Diverse teaching methods: The course employs a variety of formats, including classroom lectures, multimedia presentations, group discussions, and field visits and surveys, to enhance students' participation and interest in learning.

3. Rich resources: The team has developed a knowledge map, which is available on the school's SPOC platform.

4. Bilingual teaching: All teaching materials and video resources are produced in both Chinese and English, meeting the needs of international students to learn Chinese while addressing potential difficulties caused by language barriers.

廖坤慧，硕士研究生，副教授。主要从事英语和汉语教学的理论和教学研究，有多项来华留学生教学的课题研究，主要中国历史和政治部分部分。

Liao Kunhui (Master's Degree Holder, Associate Professor), mainly focuses on the theory and teaching research of English and Chinese, has undertaken several research projects on teaching international students in China, and primarily handles the sections on Chinese history and politics.

张瑜，硕士研究生，讲师。持有对外汉语教学教师资格证，主要从事英语和汉语教学的理论研究和教学工作，多次获得各级教学比赛大奖，主要讲解中国文化类课程部分。

Zhang Yu (Master's Degree Holder, Lecturer), holds a teaching certificate for teaching Chinese as a foreign language, mainly engages in theoretical research and teaching of English and Chinese, has won numerous awards in teaching competitions at various levels, and primarily handles the sections on Chinese culture.

马彦峰，博士研究生，讲师。研究方向为中国文化和古代文学，主持国家社科一项，主要负责中国经济部分。

Ma Yanfeng (Doctoral Degree Holder, Lecturer), focuses on Chinese culture and classical literature, leads a national social science project, and mainly handles the section on China's economy.

潘奥，博士研究生，副教授。致力于语言学研究，主持国家社科基金一项，研究成果丰富，主要负责中国教育、中国与世界部分。

Pan Ao (Doctoral Degree Holder, Associate Professor), is dedicated to research in linguistics, leads a national social science fund project, and has a rich portfolio of research achievements. She primarily handles the sections on Chinese education and China's relations with the world.
