When you come to China to study, you are thousands of miles away from home. We suggest that you bring your most important documents, clothes and other personal belongings. Electrical appliances, daily necessities and other items can be purchased on campus and in nearby shopping malls. Every city in China is densely covered with large and small shopping malls and supermarkets, so you can buy everything you need very conveniently. In addition, scanning code payment and online shopping have become very popular in China. You can fulfill your wish by touching the keyboard without leaving home.

In addition, if you are far away from home and study alone, we suggest that you bring clothes, musical instruments, picture albums, photos or other small souvenirs with the characteristics of your hometown. These souvenirs can not only make you feel the customs of your hometown even if you are far away in China, but also communicate with your classmates and reduce your yearning for your hometown.

If necessary, you can bring a small amount of personal medicine. After going through the admission formalities, you can go to the local hospital or the school hospital for medical treatment.

Moreover, according to the relevant regulations of the Chinese government, opium, morphine, heroin, marijuana and other addictive narcotics and psychotropic substances, as well as various weapons, simulated weapons, controlled knives, ammunition and explosives are strictly prohibited from being brought into China.

The Bank of China has the largest number of currencies for foreign currency exchange. You can log on to the Bank of China website to inquire about relevant information: http://www.boc.cn/

Traveler's checks: Most banks in China can exchange traveler's checks for US dollars. However, it takes a long time to exchange foreign currency cheques, about 40 working days, so we still recommend that you carry some cash.

Telegraphic Transfer: If you intend to transfer the living expenses and other expenses to your account in Beijing by telegraphic transfer, please bring enough cash to pay for your accommodation and meals in a short period of time.
