绵阳职业技术学院是绵阳市人民政府举办的一所综合类、具备独立法人资格的全日制普通高等职业院校，是四川省首批建立的八所高等职业学校之一，是全国百所国家示范高职院校之一。学校办学历史始于1933年，设有公共教育学院、材料工程学院、电子信息学院、智能制造学院、人工智能学院、电气工程学院、建筑工程学院、财经商贸学院、文化旅游学院、艺术设计学院等11个二级教学单位，开设了2个本科专业、40个专科专业，涵盖先进材料、电子信息、装备制造、财经商贸、文化旅游等13个大类、30个专业领域，现有高职、中职、应用本科、留学生等在校学生1.3万余人。
♦ ⌈Overview of Mianyang Polytechnic⌉
Mianyang Polytechnic is a comprehensive, full-time regular higher vocational college with independent legal person status sponsored by the People's Government of Mianyang. It is one of the first eight higher vocational schools established in Sichuan Province and one of the 100 national model higher vocational colleges in China. The college's educational history dates back to 1933. The college has 11 secondary teaching units, including the School of General Education, School of Materials Engineering, School of Electronic Information, School of Intelligent Manufacturing, School of Artificial Intelligence, School of Electrical Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, School of Finance, Economics and Business, School of Culture and Tourism, and School of Art and Design. The college offers 2 undergraduate programs and 40 junior college programs, covering 13 major categories and 30 professional fields such as advanced materials, electronic information, equipment manufacturing, finance, economics and business, and cultural tourism. Currently, it has more than 13,000 students on campus, including higher vocational, secondary vocational, applied undergraduate students, and international students.
学校自2018年起正式招收留学生，为留学生构建了系统化的课程体系。核心开设汉语类课程，均由对外汉语专业硕士学历教师任教；配套设置中国武术、中华传统文化等文化类课程及相关专业课程，同时结合留学生个体学习需求，增设特色专业拓展课程。学校大力推进留学生课程资源建设，《汉语听力》获评四川省首批留学生精品课程，《初级汉语听读》双语课程已在智慧职教平台上线，《茶艺》微课在四川省第二届职业教育国际化微课教学比赛中荣获三等奖。
Since 2018, Mianyang Polytechnic has officially enrolled international students and developed a systematic curriculum system. Core Chinese language courses are delivered by faculty members all holding a master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL). The college also offers complementary cultural courses including Chinese Wushu and traditional Chinese culture, along with relevant professional courses, and has added distinctive professional extension courses based on the individual learning needs of international students. The college has vigorously advanced the development of curriculum resources for international students: Chinese Listening was named one of the first batch of Excellent Courses for International Students in Sichuan Province; the bilingual course Elementary Chinese Listening and Reading has been launched on the Smart Vocational Education Platform; and the micro-course Tea Art won the Third Prize in the 2nd Sichuan Vocational Education International Micro-teaching Competition.
在留学生培养过程中，学校高度重视中外文化交融，精心组织各类特色文化交流与文体活动，深受留学生喜爱。先后开展 “走进中国茶文化与茶艺”、非物质文化遗产“羌绣”体验、“八段锦”研习、中国传统节日沉浸式体验等文化活动，以及足球友谊赛、篮球联谊赛、文艺汇演等文体活动，内容丰富、形式多样。一系列举措不仅有效助力留学生提升汉语应用能力、掌握专业知识，更推动其深入了解中国文化、增进中外青年交流互鉴，切实提升了留学生培养的质量与实效。
In the cultivation of international students, the college attaches great importance to China-foreign cultural integration and has carefully organized a diverse array of cultural exchange, sports and cultural activities that are highly popular among international students. A rich variety of events have been held in succession, including cultural activities such as Approaching Chinese Tea Culture and Tea Art, experience sessions of Qiang Embroidery (an intangible cultural heritage), Baduanjin practice sessions and immersive experience activities for traditional Chinese festivals, as well as sports and cultural events like friendly football matches, basketball friendship games and cultural performances. These initiatives have not only effectively helped international students improve their practical Chinese language proficiency and master professional knowledge, but also enabled them to gain an in-depth understanding of Chinese culture, enhanced cultural exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign young people, and thus effectively raised the quality and effectiveness of international student cultivation.
