2025年12月6日，第五届中外高水平大学学生交流计划（下称SEP）年度会议（暨SEP之夜招待会）在上海市举办，本次活动由教育部中外人文交流中心主办，中高计划全国服务中心承办，旨在回顾项目启动六年来在学分互认、联合培养及师生交流等领域取得的阶段性成果。来自中、澳、新、英、意等5国70余所高校的近200名代表共聚一堂，探讨国际化人才培养与可持续发展的新路径。
活动由教育部中外人文交流中心主任于长学先生的欢迎致辞拉开序幕，他细数SEP项目6年间的发展历程，并指出人文中心始终积极推动各级各类学校开展中外人文交流活动，促进中外民心相通、文明互鉴，SEP搭建的中外高校合作交流平台，促进了高校国际化发展，期待SEP项目继续深化中外高校协作，创新人才培养模式，为高质量教育对外开放与构建人类命运共同体贡献力量。
麦考瑞大学国际事务副校长安东尼•卡赫兰（Anthony Cahalan）教授介绍了该校加入SEP以来取得的实践成果和未来合作的设想。他还指出，当今学生的志向、学习方式及未来职业发展均需具备全球视野，而SEP通过为学生创造了跨境学习与多元文化的真实体验机会，使得这一愿景成为可能。
教育部国际合作与交流司原副司长、一级巡视员方军先生以及国家留学基金管理委员会原副秘书长、中国驻埃及大使馆原教育公参王胜刚先生就“中国高等教育开放合作的前瞻性分析”及“中国留学学生流动的趋势和转变”作了主题分享。
英国创意艺术大学副校长马克•伊鲁尔（Mark Elull）教授、英国萨塞克斯大学副校长罗宾•班纳吉（Robin Banerjee）教授、意大利米兰新美术学院执行校长多内特•麦迪奇（Donato Medici）先生和来自昆士兰大学、萨塞克斯大学、阿德莱德大学、坎特伯雷大学、辽宁大学、南京师范大学、四川省高校科技发展中心（四川省教育对外交流中心）、扬州大学、江苏大学及四川农业大学的代表围绕“中外学分互认人才联合培养探索与实践”、“顶尖学科共建”、“区域国际教育”、“文教融合创新”等主题进行了经验分享及交流发言。
在中意时装设计学生联合作品展环节，2025年开展时装设计专业合作的意大利新美术学院、扬州大学与黑龙江大学携手呈现了一场融合了东方水墨意境与意式先锋时尚的视觉盛宴。意大利米兰新美术学院保罗•巴泽尼（Paolo Bazzani）先生担纲艺术总策划的秀展生动有力地传达了艺术无界、创意共生的魅力。
在优秀学生个人故事分享环节，多位SEP在读生与毕业生分享了各自在跨文化学习中的成长轨迹：有人以卓越学术表现获得校长奖学金并发表论文；有人因见证中国品牌海外发展而立志推动新能源事业全球化；有人从初到海外的不适应状态蜕变为乐于助人的支持者；还有人通过多元实习最终投身中国品牌出海前沿。
随后的项目学生座谈环节中，更多学子讲述了突破自我、跨界探索、理解文化差异与坚定初心的经历。这些鲜活的足迹，共同勾勒出SEP学子在学术深造、职业发展与个人成长上的丰硕图景。
作为盛会的尾声，本次活动为昆士兰大学新科伦坡计划（New Colombo Plan）赴华交流学生举办了欢迎仪式，昆士兰大学与南通大学两校学子携手演绎合唱《永远的朋友》，以悠扬歌声共叙中澳青年之间的深厚情谊。
On December 6, 2025, the 5th SEP Annual Conference & Appreciation Reception took place in Shanghai, hosted by the China Center for International People-to-People Exchanges (CCIPE), Ministry of Education, and organized by the SEP National Operations. The conference reviewed six years of achievements in credit transfer recognition, joint education and academic exchanges between Chinese and foreign universities. Nearly 200 delegates from more than 70 universities across 5 countries including China, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Italy gathered to discuss new approaches to global talent development and sustainable cooperation.
The event kicked off with a welcome speech by the Director of CCIPE, Ministry of Education. Keynote speeches and thematic sharing were delivered by former senior officials from the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education, the China Scholarship Council(CSC) and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Egypt, along with senior representatives from Chinese and foreign universities, focusing on the future of higher education opening-up and global student mobility. University representatives shared practices in joint talent training, discipline collaboration, regional international education and innovation in culture-education integration.
The conference’s highlights included a China-Italy fashion design exhibition dialogue integrating eastern aesthetics and Italian avant-garde art, as well as inspiring stories from SEP students about cross-cultural learning, academic growth and career development.
As the conclusion of the conference, a welcome ceremony was held for exchange students under the New Colombo Plan, along with a chorus performance by Chinese students from Nantong University and Australian students from The University of Queensland, highlighting the friendship between young people from different countries.
