为深化中非青年友谊，共筑高水平中非命运共同体，12月10日至13日，由四川省对外友协、省政府新闻办、教育厅、团省委、省科协主办，成都市、眉山市对外友协和9所高校承办的2025中国（四川）—非洲青年人文交流活动在成都、眉山两地成功举办。西南交通大学作为本次活动中唯一受邀参与的职业技术大学，选派5名塞内加尔留学生代表，与电子科技大学、西南交通大学等高校留学生同台交流、共话发展。
From December 10 to 13, the 2025 China (Sichuan)–Africa Youth Cultural Exchange Event was successfully held in Chengdu and Meishan, Sichuan Province. The event was jointly organized by the Sichuan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Information Office of the Sichuan Provincial Government, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, the Communist Youth League Sichuan Provincial Committee, and the Sichuan Association for Science and Technology, and co-organized by the Foreign Affairs Offices of Chengdu and Meishan, in collaboration with nine universities.
本次活动以“青春同行•共筑友谊”为主题，汇聚了来自22个非洲国家及“一带一路”沿线国家的78名留学生与30名中国青年代表。在四天的行程中，学生们通过科技参访、非遗体验、农业探秘和联欢对话等一系列活动，深入感知四川的创新发展与人文底蕴。
Under the theme “Youth Together, Building Friendship,” the event brought together 78 international students from 22 African countries and Belt and Road partner countries, along with 30 Chinese youth representatives. During the four-day program, participants took part in technology visits, experiences of intangible cultural heritage, agricultural exploration activities, and youth dialogue sessions, gaining first-hand insight into Sichuan’s innovative development and rich cultural traditions.
参访环节，西南交通大学留学生与非洲各国青年一同走进四川科技馆、新川创新科技园等地，亲身体验了中国在航空航天、智能制造等领域的先进技术。在感受现代科技脉动的同时，学生们也沉浸于深厚的巴蜀文化。在天艺·浓园艺术博览园、三苏祠等地，他们亲手尝试扎染、棕编、竹编等非遗技艺，在指尖的创造中触摸中华文明的细腻与智慧。“这是我第一次接触棕编，中国手工技艺的独特魅力和精巧匠心让我印象深刻，我要将亲手制作的棕编带回塞内加尔送给家人！”西南交通大学留学生嘟嘟（THIAM DOUDOU） 在体验后由衷赞叹道。
During the site visits, students from Southwest Jiaotong University joined young participants from across Africa in exploring the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum and the Xinchuan Innovation and Technology Park, where they experienced China’s cutting-edge achievements in aerospace, intelligent manufacturing, and other fields. Beyond modern technology, the students also immersed themselves in the profound Bashu cultural heritage. At Tianyi Nongyuan Art Expo Park and the historic San Su Shrine, participants experienced traditional Chinese crafts such as tie-dyeing, palm weaving, and bamboo weaving. Through hands-on practice, they were able to appreciate the delicacy and ingenuity of traditional Chinese craftsmanship. “This was my first time trying palm weaving. The craftsmanship and creativity of Chinese traditional handicrafts are truly impressive. I will bring the piece I made back to Senegal as a gift for my family,” said international student Doudou Thiam from Southwest Jiaotong University after the activity.
活动期间，学生们还深入四川乡村，实地了解现代农业的发展。在齐乐柑橘园区，大家亲手采摘金黄饱满的爱媛橙，体验收获的喜悦；随后走进“老坛子”食品工厂，动手参与泡菜制作，从一颗蔬菜的发酵中，领略川味美食背后的产业逻辑与传统智慧。
The program also brought students into the countryside of Sichuan to observe the development of modern agriculture. At the Qile Citrus Orchard, participants harvested bright golden Ehime oranges and experienced the joy of rural production. They later visited the Laotan Food Factory, where they took part in the process of making traditional Sichuan pickles and learned about the cultural heritage and industrial development behind Sichuan cuisine.
形式多样的联欢与对话活动，为中非青年搭建起从文化展示到思想交流的立体平台。在“中国（四川）—非洲青年联欢会”上，各国青年通过唱歌、舞蹈、音乐剧、服装表演等，呈现了各自民族文化的独特魅力。西南交通大学留学生代表身着塞内加尔传统服饰登台展示民族文化，鲜明的色彩、独特的纹样与优雅的仪态，成为舞台上的一道风景，收获阵阵赞叹。现场掌声与欢笑交融，多元文化在此刻相映生辉，生动诠释了“文明因交流而多彩，文明因互鉴而丰富”的深刻内涵。
A variety of performances and dialogue activities created a vibrant platform for cultural exchange between Chinese and African youth. During the China (Sichuan)–Africa Youth Gala, students from different countries showcased their national cultures through singing, dancing, musical performances, and traditional costume displays. International students from Southwest Jiaotong University appeared on stage wearing traditional Senegalese attire. The vivid colors, unique patterns, and elegant presentation captivated the audience, showcasing the beauty of Senegalese culture and drawing warm applause.
随后举行的“中国（四川）—非洲青年对话”活动，将交流推向更深层次。12月12日晚，西南交通大学机器人学院塞内加尔留学生穆涵道作为青年代表之一发言。他以一名非洲当代青年学生的身份，诚挚分享了中国之行对包括他在内的塞内加尔学子带来的转变意义，并将其凝练为学习、友谊与责任三个关键词。在演讲中，他对比了中非双方的特质：“当我们看向中国，我们看到的是勇气、决心和长远视野；而当你们看向非洲，你们看到的是青春、创造力和韧性”。他特别感谢西南交通大学“为我们打开大门，让我们有机会成为文化交流的参与者和中非友谊的传播者”。此次发言，不仅展现了留学生的个人风采，也体现了西南交通大学培养具有国际视野与责任感的高素质技术技能人才方面取得的积极成效。
At the China (Sichuan)–Africa Youth Dialogue session, Mouhandao, a Senegalese student from the School of Robotics at Southwest Jiaotong University, spoke as a youth representative. Reflecting on his experience studying in China, he summarized its significance for African students in three key words: learning, friendship, and responsibility. In his speech, he noted: “When we look at China, we see courage, determination, and long-term vision; and when you look at Africa, you see youth, creativity, and resilience.” He also expressed sincere gratitude to Southwest Jiaotong University for opening opportunities that allow international students to become active participants in cultural exchange and ambassadors of China–Africa friendship.
据悉，此次活动是2026年“中非人文交流年”的重要预热，不仅为中非青年搭建了常态化的交流平台，更以青春之力厚植了中非友好的民间根基。活动中，非洲留学生纷纷表示，将把在四川的所见所学、所感所悟带回非洲，同时把生动的非洲故事分享给更多中国朋友，以实际行动为中非友谊添砖加瓦。
This event also served as an important prelude to the upcoming 2026 China–Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges. It not only created a sustainable platform for communication between Chinese and African youth, but also strengthened the social foundation of China–Africa friendship through youth engagement.
作为活动中唯一受邀的职业院校，西南交通大学的深度参与和留学生的出色表现，生动彰显了职业教育在中非人文交流与务实合作中的独特价值。活动虽已落幕，但交流与合作的篇章仍在续写。未来，西南交通大学将持续拓展国际交流平台，支持更多非洲学子成长为中非友好的青年使者，在航空航天、工程技术等领域，为构建更加紧密的中非命运共同体贡献坚实的“成航力量”。
As the only invited vocational institution, Southwest Jiaotong University’s active participation and the outstanding performance of its international students highlighted the unique role of vocational education in promoting China–Africa cultural exchange and practical cooperation. Although the event has concluded, the story of cooperation and friendship continues. In the future, Southwest Jiaotong University will further expand international exchange platforms and support more African students in becoming young ambassadors of China–Africa friendship. In fields such as aerospace and engineering technology, they will contribute to building an even closer China–Africa community with a shared future.
