signed a Memorandum of Understanding and an Academic Exchange and Cooperation Agreement

On March 6, a delegation led by José Ignacio Jiménez González, Vice-Rector of the University of Jaén (UJA), Spain, visited Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU). Kang Guozheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC SWJTU Committee and Vice President of SWJTU, met with the guests.
康国政代表学校对何塞·伊格纳西奥·希门尼斯·冈萨雷斯一行来访表示欢迎。他简要介绍了学校130年的办学历史及国际交流合作成果,并表示,学校与哈恩大学自十余年前建立合作关系以来,一直保持着良好的交流基础,期待通过此次访问,推动双方在学生交换、学术交流等方面的务实合作,共同开启下一阶段交流合作的新篇章。
Kang Guozheng extended a warm welcome to José Ignacio Jiménez González and his delegation on behalf of SWJTU. He briefly introduced the university's 130-year history and achievements in international exchange and cooperation. He noted that since establishing cooperative ties over a decade ago, SWJTU and UJA have maintained a solid foundation for exchange. He expressed hope that this visit would advance practical collaboration in areas such as student exchange and academic exchange, jointly opening a new chapter in the next phase of exchange and cooperation.
何塞·伊格纳西奥·希门尼斯·冈萨雷斯介绍了哈恩大学的办学情况及学科建设。他对西南交大长期以来的支持表示感谢,并希望以此次访问为契机,深化两校在师生互访、在线教学等领域的交流与合作。
José Ignacio Jiménez González introduced the educational programs and disciplinary development of UJA. He expressed gratitude for the long-standing support from SWJTU and hoped this visit would serve as an opportunity to deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two institutions in areas such as faculty and student visits and online teaching.

During the meeting, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding and an Academic Exchange and Cooperation Agreement.
计算机与人工智能学院、力学与航空航天学院、数学学院、国际合作与交流处相关负责同志参加座谈。
Representatives from the School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, the School of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, the School of Mathematics, and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges attended the meeting.
